CG Moving Company provides residential moving services for eligible State of California employees relocating under the official Department of General Services (DGS) Transportation Management Unit (TMU) program.
If your relocation is connected to a promotion, transfer, or assignment change and your move is being paid or reimbursed by the State, your move may follow the State’s Household Goods Moving Guide and authorization process.

This relocation program is intended for:
Your appointing authority provides written relocation approval and issues a Moving Service Authorization, commonly known as STD 255.
You select a moving company from the State’s List of Eligible Household Goods Carriers. CG Moving Company is an approved carrier available to support these moves.
A visual survey is performed and you receive a written estimate outlining services such as packing, unpacking, and storage-in-transit if authorized.
The move is completed according to the terms of the state authorization and transportation agreement.
The carrier bills the State directly for authorized charges, and DGS Transportation Management audits the invoice.
